The 7th-8th Grade Concert Band is designed for experienced instrumental students who have mastered basic fundamental techniques and have proven themselves to be advanced in musical abilities and maturity.  7th –8th Grade Concert Band members are challenged with the finest and most demanding band literature of varying styles commensurate with the ability level of the group.  Students are required to perform at all scheduled concerts, are members of the marching and pep bands, and must attend all sectionals.  Opportunities and materials are available for participation in solo and ensemble work.  Auditions are given for chair placement within the band.
