All students enrolled in 6th, 7th or 8th grade band may audition for the Lincoln Wildcat Jazz Band. Students not enrolled in band at Lincoln may also audition to be part of the jazz band.  Audition materials are handed out in the 2nd quarter, with the auditions held soon after.  Rehearsals are held once a week after school (3:00 – 4:30).  They will perform at the Winter and Spring Concerts, and the IGSMA District contest.  Other performances for this group may be added.  Notification will be sent to parents as soon as the director is notified.
